25/4/2020 0 Comments Day zero: Before we begin...Day zero. The day before we begin. There are some things to consider. -Dress comfortably -Create a safe space with padding and something to protect your knees if you need it -Where will you practice? Set the scene for where you want to be Looking after our well-being is always important, and yet, sometimes it seems like it never makes it to the top of the priority list. This challenge is intended to help us put a spotlight on our own well-being. Just like they say in the airplane, you have to put on your own oxygen mask before you can help someone else with theirs... so let’s start to prioritize our own well-being so we can be our best and able to serve the world with our greatest personal gifts! The approach: each day I will share a variation of yoga classes. You’ll chose one and engage in the practice- that’s at least one yoga class every day for 30 days. You’ll start to see changes in how you feel by day 3, and your body will show changes by week 2. If you want a live class session led by yours truly, I’m more than happy to do that, so just ask! I will also share strategies aligned with the Happiness 101: Habits for Happiness. These strategies are intended to be provocations to encourage you to explore more. Some topics might really peak your interest, while others just don’t seem to fit. What is shared is simply an invitation. I encourage you to stay open and give some things a try before you decide if it is or isn’t for you! This group is for all of us. The process of curating these resources is just as much a gift FROM me as a gift FOR me. I want to reboot and hold myself accountable to well-being, and you’re helping me to do that. Thank you. Be bold. Be open. If you need something, just ask. I’ll always do my best to support you. And if I cannot, maybe someone else in the group can. We start on Sunday- the event gave a time. That’s just to help you think ahead to when you want to kick this off. Begin when it suits you... Looking forward to spending the next month together! Erin
